Chappell Roan recently shared her admiration for Miley Cyrus and expressed a desire to embody Hannah Montana’s dual identity during an appearance on Drew Afualo’s The Comment Section podcast. The 26-year-old singer, known for hits like “Red Wine Supernova” and “Pink Pony Club,” reminisced about her fan journey from attending Miley Cyrus concerts to being invited to one of her parties.
Reflecting on her rising fame, Roan commented, “All these experiences happening to me now are like icing on the cake. I never imagined I’d fly first class or have backstage access.” She fondly recalled Miley inviting her to a party, noting, “You don’t know you were my first concert when the Jonas Brothers were opening for you.”
Discussing her admiration for Hannah Montana, Roan mused about wanting to emulate the character’s dual persona. “If I could start over, I’d love to do something like Daft Punk, maybe with a helmet, similar to Mr. Marshmello,” she shared. “I loved how Hannah had two different personalities because my hair always gets me in trouble. So, I wish I could have been her.”
