SHANGLA: After a long spell of snowfall and rain tourists from various parts of the country reached tourist destinations to witness snow blanketed places.
Local and non-local tourists visited Yakhtangay, Ajmeer, Lelonai and Shangla top where up to 5 feet of snow was received during the season of snowfall, they enjoyed in the snow and have captured photographs for memorizing their trips.
“We came from Mardan to Yakhtangay along with family, it is a blessing, calm and beautiful place, while the snow has given to our trip double pleasure. Our children also enjoyed in the snow throwing snowballs at each others,” Rehmat Gul, a tourist said.
Irfan Kaleem, a tourist from Gujranwala, said, Shangla has a rich and eye catching beauty visiting it first time in life with local friends who invited him for a weeding but witnessed snow caped mountains and valley.
“I will come next time with family to show them the natural beauty of Shangla, local people hospitality was also unforgettable. I will also show these pictures and selfies to my friends in Gujranawala that Pakistan has some hidden attractive places which have not been explored,” He said.
Doctor Ghafoor Khan, enjoying foods with friends in camping pods at Yakhtangay, said, they have such wonderful places in their area for outing and making some of chill.
He said they usually visit Yakhtangay along children and family members to enjoy in snow, when Sun arise after snowfall because the snow provide them opportunity of chill on Sunny day.
The tourists demanded of the government to ensure good infrastructure, especially roads at the tourists sites, so that nature lovers could be avoid from inconvenience.
