Kashmiri Muslims Pay the Price for New Delhi’s Failures
The aftermath of recent escalations in Kashmir has once again exposed the heavy cost borne by Kashmiri Muslims, as New Delhi’s long-standing policy failures fuel fresh unrest in the region. Following a deadly militant attack in Pahalgam that killed dozens, the Indian government responded with sweeping crackdowns — actions that have disproportionately affected the local Muslim population.
Security forces intensified operations across the Kashmir Valley, leading to mass arrests, home demolitions, and heightened surveillance.
