Ben Curran, Zimbabwe’s top-order batter, has expressed anticipation that Bangladesh will mount a strong challenge in the upcoming second Test match in Chattogram, starting April 28. Following Zimbabwe’s narrow three-wicket victory in the first Test at Sylhet—marked by their highest successful run chase in Test cricket—Curran emphasized the need for his team to remain vigilant and not underestimate the hosts.

“We are expecting Bangladesh to come really hard at us. We are not expecting this to be an easy game. We have to work hard for every moment,” Curran stated ahead of the match. He acknowledged the significance of the first Test win, noting it was his inaugural Test victory and a testament to the team’s hard work leading up to the series.

Curran also highlighted the importance of adapting to different conditions
