Remaining HBL PSL X matches moved to UAE: PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that the remaining eight matches of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 will be relocated to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to escalating security concerns stemming from heightened military tensions between India and Pakistan.

The matches, originally scheduled to take place in Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Multan, include four league-stage games and four playoff fixtures:

Karachi Kings vs. Peshawar Zalmi

Peshawar Zalmi vs. Lahore Qalandars

Islamabad United vs. Karachi Kings

Multan Sultans vs. Quetta Gladiators

Qualifier

Eliminator 1

Eliminator 2

Final

PCB Chairman and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that the decision was made to ensure the safety and mental well-being of both domestic and international players, especially after an Indian drone reportedly crashed into the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium just hours before a scheduled match.

While the exact dates and venues for the rescheduled matches in the UAE have not yet been announced, the PCB has assured that this information will be shared in due course.

This relocation marks the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic that the PSL has been moved to the UAE, highlighting the PCB’s commitment to prioritizing player safety amid regional instability.
