Babar Azam’s 57-ball hundred sends Zalmi into PSL final

Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam delivered a शानदार match-winning performance, smashing a brilliant century off just 57 balls to guide his team into the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 final.

Batting first against Islamabad United in the Qualifier, Zalmi posted a massive total of 221/7, powered by Babar’s explosive 103-run innings, which included 12 fours and 4 sixes.

In response, Islamabad United failed to chase the target and were bowled out for 151, handing Zalmi a dominant 70-run victory and a direct place in the final.

Babar’s कप्तानी innings not only secured victory but also saw him equal the record for most runs in a single PSL season, underlining his consistency and class in the tournament.

This commanding performance marks Zalmi’s return to a PSL final after several years, with Babar leading from the front at a crucial stage of the competition.
