SHANGLA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for information Shaukat Yousafzai’s native town Bisham, Shangla people rejected the government decision and are not celebrating Eidul-fiter on Tuesday.
residents of Shangla rejected the announcement of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and preferred to celebrate Eidul-fiter with center on Wednesday instead on Tuesday.
On Monday the KP government minister for information Shaukat Yousafzai had announced that Eidul-fiter to be celebrated on Tuesday across the province but the residents in Shangla rejected the announcement and decided to celebrate the festival with the center as in Malakand and Hazara division people had started fasting on the announcement of Central moon sighting committee.
Although on Monday night, rumors were viral that Eidul-fiter in Shangla to be celebrated on Tuesday but no one celebrated Eid in the district Shangla with the province decision.
