The Northern parts of Pakistan received heavy snowfall covering mountains with snow blanket, chilly weather has made life difficult.
The snowfall at upper parts of Chitral, Shangla, Skardu, Gilgit, Khunjrab, Babusar, Swat, Kalam, Malamjabba, Dir Lower and Dir Upper received heavy snowfall up to 2 feet during last two days consecutive snowfall.
Also in plain areas of the Northern Parts rain was lashed and continue for the third consecutive day on Saturday.
The Shangla district upper parts received second snowfall of the season here on Friday also rain lashed in plain parts of the area increasing the cold.
The snowfall at upper parts started on Thursday night and continued for the second consecutive day till Friday night.
The snowfall received at Speenghar, Ajmeer, Gamtal, Kapar Banda, Yakhtangay and Shangla top which fell down the mercury in the district forcing the hilly area’s people to stay inside their houses as links roads were also closed due to landsliding and snowfall.
