A blood feud between two groups in which 8 people had died so far has been settled by police with the help of local notables at Makra, Puran here on Thursday.
A Jirga was held in this regard at Makra Puran in which Sub-divisional police officer, Puran Muhammad Yasin Khan, station house officer at PS Aloch, Muhammad Ali and local notables were present.
The Jirga members had urged both the groups to end the enmity of 10 years because 8 people had so far lost their lives and several injured.
Both sides rivals vowed to end the blood feud and hugged each other on the occasion.
