The Tehsil Municipal Administration Bisham has foiled a bid of cattle smuggling at Bisham and seized truck along the cattle as transportation of cattle to out district is banned under section 144 till Eidul Azha.
A statement issued by TMA Bisham, said that enforcement officer TMA Bisham, Ghyooor Khan along with staff had got information about the smuggling of sacrificial cattle from Bisham to out district.
It said the TMA team caught the loaded truck of different sacrificial animals and handed over the driver and dealer to local police for lodging FIR as section 144 of Crpc had already imposed by the district administration in view of upcoming Eidul-Azha in meant to control the cattle prices and people could avoid the shortage of animals.
