SHANGLA: Insaf teacher association Shangla has urged the district education department to expedite the process of promotion of senior primary school teachers those promotion orders have been stuck for a year and they were awaiting.
The Insaf teacher association ITA Shangla’s president Aftab Ali Zai had a meeting with district education officer, Shangla, Muhammad Amin at his office in Alpuri on Tuesday.
Mr Ali Zai requested the DEO male Muhammad Amin to expedite the process of seniority-based promotion of primary school teachers and issue the promotion orders as soon as possible.
The ITA president on the occasion discussed the various kind of issues being faced by the district teachers, on which DEO assured that that issues would be resolved at earliest in possible ways.
DEO also notified a committee in order to accelerate the PSTs promotion process and to issue the promotion orders on time.
The PTI’s teacher wing president also visited the DEO (Female) office and met the DEO female regarding the female teacher’s problems.
Mr Ali Zai informed DEO female about the female teachers’ various issues related to schools, facilities, and salaries, however, DEO female assured him that the discussed issues would be resolved at earliest and facilities ensured at the schools for both teachers and students.
