SHANGLA: Events held across Shangla district in connection with the 72 anniversary of the tragic incident, The mass shooting of workers of Khudai Khidmatgar Tehreek had happened in 1948 and ANP claimed that more than 700 people were killed and hundreds of others were injured on the occasion.
Awami National Party ANP had arranged gatherings in every tehsil of the district Shangla to mark the Babrra massacre day and paid homage to the martyred souls.
Events were organised at Bisham, Alpuri, Chakesar, Puran, Martung and Shahpur which were attended by leaders and workers of the ANP in a large number and remembered the martyred and also prayed for them.
In Bisham, Muhammad Yar Khan, Shamshir Khan, Zahid Khan, Attaullah Kamal, Bakht Zeb Umar Khel and others spoke to the 72 anniversary of the mass shooting.
Also in Chakesar, Sher Ali Khan, Altaf Hussain, Fatehyab, at Puran, MPA Faisal Zeb, Ibadullah Khan, Ali Bahadar Khan and other shed light on the tragic incident.
