Including children and women, 21 more people were killed and over three dozens injured in rain-related incidents and flash floods in different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mansehra, Battagram, Bunir, Shangla, Kohistan and Swat.
According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, Bunir, Taj Muhammad, including a woman and two children were killed and three others injured at Chagharzai and a woman at Ryal area of Bunir in the roof collapsing and landsliding over houses.
He said, the injured were recovered by Rescue 1122 team and shifted them to the district headquarters hospital, Bunir.
Similarly, at Hussain Banda in Oghi tehsil of Mansehra district a house hit by landslide as a result 4 persons including a woman and a child were killed and two others injured.
In Torghar, Including two women seven people were killed and three injured when a landslide hit their house in a remote area of Torghar.
In Battagram, Rashang area of the Battagram district a house of Muhamad Nawaz collapsed after hitting by heavy boulders, as a result, two of his daughters aged between 9-12 were killed and local people had made efforts and pulled out the bodies from the debris.
Deputy commissioner, Battagram, Abdul Hameed told The Northern Post that seven houses had been collapsed so far across the district and eight links and major roads blocked due to landslide.
He said water supply schemes of the different parts of the district were also damaged.
In Kohistan, Deputy commissioner Upper Kohistan, Arif Yousafzai, said that 10-15 houses, a mosque and Madrasa were damaged and links roads of the entire Kandia tehsil blocked due to landsliding also water supply schemes damaged in various points.
In Shangla district torrential rain continued for fourth consecutive day, a suspension bridge linking Damorai with Banda at Damorai area of has been swept away in the flash floods.
Assistant commissioner, Bisham, Khuram Rehman said that houses nearby rivers had been evacuated as the flow of water was being increased.
Deputy commissioner, Shangla, Imran hussain Ranjha told The Northern Post that a major loss of roads damages reported in the district due to flash floods, particularly, a 1-kilometer portion of Karora-Ajmeer road washed away and also other major and link roads, however construction and works department has started roads clearance work but consecutive rainfall hindering the work.
He said, five causalities had been reported so far in the current torrential rains and flash floods and several others injured.
He added that 87 houses, 08 shops, 11 schools, 34 roads, 11 Water supply schemes, 07 flood protection walls, 02 suspension bridges, 13 cattle heads had been damaged.
He said the houses damages reporters were being collected by his revenue staff, however, reports of houses damages, roads blockade and water supply lines damages receiving from the various parts of the district.
The floods also destructed various parts of Gilgit Baltistan as including Karakoram Highway and Skardu road blocked due to landsliding for the second day.
DC Shigar Azemullah, said that five houses were washed away in floods in Darghosha area of Gilgit, also a mosque and school.
