SHANGLA: Shah Saud Advocate was elected president and Waqif Shah Advocate general secretary in the district bar elections held on Saturday.
Mr Saud competing with Abdul Hakim Advocate bagged 35 votes against 14 votes secured by his rival.
Jehan Zeb Advocate was elected vice-president, Waqif Shah Advocate general secretary, Shamshir Ali Advocate joint secretary, Sanaullah Advocate finance secretary and Roshan Ali Shah Advocate librarian secretary.
