Earthquake jolts felt across Shangla district on Thursday evening, however no human loss or property damages were reported. The earthquake jolts felt in Bisham, Alpuri, Puran, Chakesar, Kana and Martung tehsils due to which people came out of their houses and markets while reciting Quranic verses. The district administration has also issued an alert in the district to gather information if anywhere any damages occurred as the earthquake magnitude was high.
According to Andriod earthquake alert system, it was 5.8 magnitude earthquake felt in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and India.
