SHANGLA: Bisham police has recovered a young girl who was abducted the other day by influentials at Losar area of Bisham tehsil, two of the three accused were also arrested.
Station House Officer, Bisham, Muhammad Ajmal, said that some local influential at Losar area in premises of Bisham police station had abducted a young girl, resident of Taloon, tehsil Chakesar was abducted by some local influentials also beating up the girl brother.
He said, they had lodged an FIR on the complaint of the girl’s father and conducted several raids, while in last raid they recovered the girl and arrested two accused of three, identified as Gul Sher, Momin, and Said Jaan, residents of Losar.
SHO, said the girl was a guest and on a visit to her relatives in Losar along with brother and cousins when she was taken away by the armed men.
Losar and Chambar areas of Bisham tehsil in Shangla known for child marriages and force marriages with low-class girls by local influentials.
Police handed over the girl to family after recovering her and registered cases and began further interrogation.
