Alpuri tehsil council nazim sent to jail for anti-state’s institutions speech

The magistrate-on-duty on Sunday sent the Alpuri tehsil council nazim Mohammad Tahir to the district jail Battagram over alleged remarks against the state’s institutions during a protest in Dandai area.

The police produced the nazim before the magistrate Mohammad Aqib in Alpuri camp court.

The nazim’s counsel said the magistrate did not mention in the order the period of time the nazim would spend in jail.
