CHITRAL: Blacktopping Work on Chitral’s Airport road is in full swing and soon it will be completed and people would enjoy travel on it. An asphalt plant was also installed at Saidabad for the road blacktopping.
Engineer Shiraz said as the coronavirus had affected development work all over the world, the uplift work in Chitral was also badly affected. He said that there was no asphalt plant in the whole Chitral and now a plant had been set up brought from the down district, the owner of this plant is often unwilling to use it for minor work.

Haji Gulab said that work on this road has just started and we are hopeful that this road will be paved now. This road was a disgrace to the beauty of Chitral. Now that it is under construction, it will not only benefit the locals but also make it easier for tourists to travel.
They also thanked the provincial government for releasing funds of 360 million for this purpose.
