Separate hearings were held at Adiala Jail on Monday for the Toshakhana 2 case and the £190 million corruption case involving PTI Founder and his wife, Bushra Bibi.
After being absent from multiple prior hearings, Bushra Bibi appeared in court, leading to the cancellation of her arrest warrants in both cases.
Toshakhana 2 Case
Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand canceled Bushra Bibi’s arrest warrant and provided copies of the FIA report upon the defence’s request.
Defence lawyer Salman Safdar argued that legal procedures require a seven-day window after receiving the prosecution’s report before an indictment can occur.

The prosecution, however, advocated for an immediate indictment, asserting that the suspects already had access to all necessary documents. They also highlighted Bushra Bibi’s repeated absences, suggesting she might not attend future hearings.
Bushra Bibi personally assured the court of her commitment to future appearances, stating, “When the sentence was passed, I walked to the jail myself. I missed some hearings due to illness and bail obligations in other cases, but will not be absent moving forward.”
