Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with the UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi, inviting UAE investors to invest in Punjab.
During the meeting, it was decided to establish a working group between Punjab and the UAE to elevate bilateral cooperation to new heights.
Discussions were held on economic collaboration, developmental projects in Punjab, and the promotion of tourism.
She assured UAE investors of special incentives and a conducive environment for investment.
Maryam Nawaz appreciated the UAE’s cooperation in Pakistan’s socio-economic development.
The UAE Ambassador, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi, congratulated Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on her successful visit to China.
The ambassador also commended Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for the ongoing developmental projects and her efforts in addressing climate change.
Maryam Nawaz expressed her gratitude for the UAE’s support in infrastructure, health, education, and energy sectors, emphasizing that Pakistan values these contributions.
She added that Pakistan and the UAE share a common vision for regional stability and prosperity. She further added that Punjab seeks collaboration with the UAE in agriculture, technology, green energy, and other sectors.
UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi stated that the UAE desires a prosperous Pakistan and stands alongside its government and people on this journey. He expressed interest in working on more projects in Pakistan.
He further added that the UAE is committed to promoting sustainable development in collaboration with the Punjab government through public-private partnerships.
