LAHORE: The Punjab police made foolproof security arrangements for Quaid-i-Azam Day and Christmas celebrations. At least 30,000 police officers and personnel were assigned security duties at more than 2,900 churches and sensitive locations. Over 5,000 officers and personnel were deployed to secure more than 600 Christian places of worship in the provincial capital. Above 1,000 police personnel provided security at events organised for Quaid-i-Azam Day.
