England star cricketer registers for PSL 10 draft

Former World No. 1 T20I batter David Malan has signed up for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 draft, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Thursday. Malan joins fellow English players Jason Roy, Tom Curran, and David Willey in the draft.

Malan has previously played for Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Multan Sultans in the PSL. He began his PSL journey with Peshawar Zalmi, later moved to Islamabad United, and represented Multan Sultans in PSL 2024.

He is the sixth international player to register for PSL 10, joining Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, Australia’s Usman Khawaja, and Bangladesh’s Mustafizur Rahman, in addition to the English trio.

The 36-year-old retired from international cricket in August 2024 after an illustrious career. He represented England in 114 matches across formats, scoring 4,416 runs at an average of 37.74, with eight centuries and 31 fifties.
