FIA, Interpol issue red notices to 15 human traffickers

ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued red notices through Interpol to 15 human traffickers involved in the Greek, Libyan and Moroccan boat accident and they were hiding in Libya, Greece and Mauritania.
The proceedings against the human traffickers involved in the Mauritania boat accident have been initiated, in which significant progress has also been made.
According to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials, teams will go to these countries to arrest the accused.
On the other hand, FIA arrested the accused Ansar involved in human trafficking from Gujranwala during the investigation of the boat incident. The accused had taken 5.4 million to send a citizen named Aamir to Spain, while the victim Aamir has survived the Mauritanian boating incident.
Similarly, FIA arrested three human traffickers from Faisalabad and Sahiwal.
It should be remembered that on December 16, an accident happened to the boat of illegal migrants from the African country of Mauritania to Spain, as a result of which 50 migrants, including 44 Pakistanis, died.
According to the news agency, the boat of 86 migrants left Mauritania on January 2. There were a total of 66 Pakistanis in the boat, but 36 people have been rescued in the boat accident.
Of the 44 Pakistanis who died in the boat accident, 12 youths were residents of Gujarat, besides people from Sialkot and Mandi Bahauddin were also present in the boat.
