A fireman was killed and another injured when they were hit by a speedy coaster at Seror area of Bisham tehsil.
According to Tehsil Municipal Administration Bisham’s officials , the both firemen were returning on a motorcycle for duty from their houses in Bahlol Khel, Martung and the speedy coaster hit them.
They said, Mukram a fireman was died on the spot and Abdul Aziz was injured.
Police said that the coaster driver was fled from the scene, while they have seized the coaster and registered case against the driver.
The deceased and injured have been associated with TMA Bisham for a year and belonged to Bahlol Khel of Martung tehsil in Shangla.
Meanwhile, the local residents of Bisham tehsil demanded of the law enforcement agencies to take action on over-speeding and reckless driving by Gilgit Baltistant transporters on the Karakoram Highway.
