Authorities have closed multiple sections of motorways due to dense fog, which has severely reduced visibility.

The M-2 motorway between Lahore and Kot Momin has been shut down, while the M-3 Abdul Hakim Motorway and M-5 from Sher Shah Multan to Zahir Pir are also closed, according to a spokesperson for the motorway police. Additionally, traffic on the Lahore-Sialkot Motorway (M-11) has been suspended.

The spokesperson emphasized that the closures are necessary to ensure public safety, as lane violations during foggy conditions can lead to accidents. Road users are urged to maintain lane discipline when traveling in such weather.

Citizens are advised to prioritize travel during daylight hours to minimize risks associated with reduced visibility.
