Former lawmaker Ghalib Domki in robbery attempt in Shikarpur

KARACHI: Former Pakistan People Party (PPP) lawmaker Mir Ghalib Khan Domki, his wife and grandson were injured during attempted robbery in Shikarpur district.
According to the police, robbers opened fire on the vehicle of Mir Ghalib Domki in Faizo Laro area of ​​Shikarpur, injuring the former provincial minister, his wife and grandson .
According to the police, two guards of Mir Ghalib Domki were killed in the attack by the robbers, while two robbers were also killed and one injured in the retaliatory action.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shikarpur Shahzaib Chachar confirmed the incident, said Ghalib Domki tribe along with his family members was travelling to Bakhshapur from Sukkur.
Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident of firing on Ghalib Domki and sought a report from IG Sindh.
He prayed for the speedy recovery of Domki and expressed deep regret over the loss of lives. The chief minister also ordered an inquiry into the incident and action against those responsible.
