Germany’s junior hockey team completed a clean sweep against Pakistan in the Pak-German Friendship Hockey Series 2025, winning all four matches. The series, marking the first visit by a German hockey team to Pakistan in 21 years, featured three games in Lahore and the final match in Islamabad.
The opening match on March 6 saw Germany edge out Pakistan with a 4-3 victory.
In the second game, held on March 8, Germany secured a 2-1 win.
The third match, played on March 11, resulted in a 3-2 victory for Germany. The series concluded on March 13 in Islamabad, where Germany dominated with a 4-1 win, sealing the series 4-0.
German coach Mirko Stenzel expressed hope that this tour would encourage more international teams to visit Pakistan, aiding in the revival and growth of hockey in the country.
