Honda Pakistan achieves Rs566 mn profit with 300% growth in 3 months

Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited (HCAR) posted an impressive profit of Rs566.4 million for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, reflecting a 295% increase compared to Rs143.3 million in the same quarter last year.
Earnings per share significantly rose to Rs3.97, up from Rs1 in the previous year. The remarkable growth in profits was driven by a 44% increase in sales, which soared to Rs17.85 billion, compared to Rs12.43 billion during the same period last year.
While the cost of sales also rose by 42%, reaching Rs16.21 billion, the company’s gross profit surged nearly 60% to Rs1.64 billion. This resulted in an improved gross margin of 9.2%, up from 8.3% a year earlier.
Honda Atlas’s strong performance underscores its ability to manage costs effectively while boosting sales in a competitive market. The rise in gross margins and profits demonstrates the company’s solid market position and offers positive prospects for its shareholders.
This robust growth highlights HCAR’s resilience and adaptability, ensuring it remains a key player in Pakistan’s automotive industry.
