The Kolai Police Kohistan police has booked 11 people including local MPA Mufti Ubaid Ur Rehman for alleged involvement in the district education officer Pallas Kohistan Nawab Ali Khan who was killed in his office.
It was stated DPO Mansehra Zaibullah Khan, along with DPO Kolai Pallas Kohistan Iftikhar Khan here on Monday. They said that JIT has completed its investigation and came to the conclusion that including MPA 11 people were involved in the DEO Nawab Ali murder.
They said, the DEO was earlier tortured and detained in an house at Abottabad where the MPA and others had signed the class-IV orders forcibly which he later withdrawn.
DPO Zaibullah, said that the JIT had also recovered a letter in which the slain DPO had nominated the MPA in case anything happened to him.
The 9 accused were produced before the district and session judge Kolai Pallas Kohistan Muhammad Mushtaq where the Judge granted 7 days judicial remand for the accused.
Including the MPA two nominated accused of the case still at large and police are making efforts to arrest them soon.
Here the Shangla residents have announced a social boycott from the Pallas residents for their MPA and other people alleged involvement of the murder of DEO Nawab Ali.
