The United States and Iran have engaged in indirect talks, with recent discussions held in Oman. While both sides described the talks as “positive” and “constructive,” the next round of negotiations is expected to take place in Rome. However, conflicting reports have emerged regarding the location of future talks, with Iran indicating that the discussions will return to Oman .​
