On Sunday, April 13, 2025, the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) organized a significant rally in Karachi to denounce Israeli actions in Gaza and express solidarity with the Palestinian people. The event, held on Shahrah-i-Quaideen, was addressed by JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, who delivered a strong message against any recognition of Israel or establishment of ties with the state. He emphasized that such actions would lead to severe consequences, stating, “we will break their legs.” Maulana Rehman reaffirmed Pakistan’s traditional stance, recalling that Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had declared Israel an illegitimate state,” and asserted, “No one will be allowed to deviate from this position.”
In addition to the Karachi demonstration, JUI-F and other organizations coordinated nationwide protests to condemn Israeli actions and show support for Palestinians. These rallies took place in various cities, including Charsadda, Lower Dir, Mansehra, Shangla, South Waziristan, Battagram, Mohmand, and Charsadda, highlighting the widespread sentiment across Pakistan.
