KP Government Denies Alleged ‘Deal’ Between Gandapur and Institutions During His Disappearance

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has firmly dismissed speculations about a supposed “deal” between PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur and state institutions during his recent disappearance. These rumors surfaced following Gandapur’s sudden absence from the public eye, which sparked widespread speculation across political circles and media outlets.

Gandapur, known for his vocal support of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its chairman Imran Khan, was reportedly missing for several days. His disappearance fueled speculation that he may have struck a deal with institutions to avoid legal proceedings. The rumors suggested that Gandapur’s return to the public stage could come under negotiated terms that allowed him to escape the growing pressure on PTI leadership in light of recent legal challenges.

However, KP Information Minister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel has unequivocally refuted these claims, labeling them as “baseless” and “politically motivated.” He emphasized that neither the provincial government nor any state institutions were involved in any deal with Gandapur. According to Kakakhel, the government is committed to transparency and will not engage in any covert agreements.

The minister further clarified that Gandapur’s absence was due to personal reasons, which had nothing to do with political negotiations or pressure from the institutions. He urged the public and the media to refrain from spreading unverified information that could mislead the public and harm the democratic process.

This firm response from the KP government comes at a time when political tensions in the country are at an all-time high, with various allegations and rumors circulating around the PTI leadership.
