Content creator and actress Kusha Kapila reflected on the challenging period following her 2023 divorce from Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia, revealing her concerns about how it would impact her mother’s social life.

Speaking on Be A Parent Yaar for We Are Yuvaa’s YouTube channel, Kusha, alongside her mother Rita, discussed the trolling they faced and how they navigated the emotional turmoil.

Kusha admitted that during the tough phase, she was particularly worried about her mother. “At that time, I was worried that my mom’s social life would take a backseat; please don’t do this,” she shared. Rita acknowledged the difficulty but maintained resilience, saying, “It was tough, but it’s okay.”

Rita recounted adjusting her routine to avoid uncomfortable questions, including visiting the temple earlier to escape scrutiny. She shared a moment of vulnerability when a woman at the temple inquired about Kusha’s divorce, leaving her shaken. “I cried on my way home,” Rita confessed. Her husband reassured her, saying, “Life is full of ups and downs; don’t take it to heart.”

Rita’s strength and support were pivotal in overcoming the negativity. Now, Kusha focuses on her work, including roles in Sukhee, Thank You For Coming, and Masaba Masaba, while receiving appreciation for her achievements.
