The Lahore High Court (LHC) has once again canceled the scheduled bail hearings for former Prime Minister Imran Khan in connection with eight cases related to the May 9 incidents. The hearings, initially set for April 23, were removed from the court’s docket due to the unavailability of the two-member bench assigned to the cases. A new date for the hearings will be announced later .

These bail petitions aim to overturn the trial court’s previous decisions denying bail to Khan in the aforementioned cases. His legal team contends that the allegations are baseless and politically motivated, asserting that inconsistencies in the prosecution’s narrative undermine the credibility of the charges .

This marks the latest in a series of delays in Khan’s legal proceedings, reflecting the complex and contentious nature of the cases against him.
