SHANGLA: A young man was died and three other wounded when roof a mud house collapsed during a weeding ceremony at Daam village of Chakesar tehsil here on Sunday.
Station House Officer, police station Chakesar, Habib Shah Khan, said that a weeding ceremony was underway at a house in Dam village and some men were having launch and suddenly roof of a room collapsed as result Shabir Ahmed and three others trapped under the debris.
SHO said that local people took part in the rescue work and retrieved the trapped men and rushed them to Rural Health Center Chakesar, however, Shabir Ahmed succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
The police official, added that the injured men were discharged after provision them first aid at RHC Chakesar.
Meanwhile, a young man was electrocuted and died at Bar Butyal village of Bisham here on Saturday night.
Relative of the deceased told Dawn that Mansoor Ali, 18 was fixing a electric wire on his roof when he electrocuted, however he was rushed to tehsil headquarters hospital in Bisham but he could not survive and died.
