The Shangla forest department has launched Moon-soon plantation campaign by planting plants here at Maira on Saturday.
Sub-divisional forest officer, Karora sub-division, Zahid Hussain along with staff arranged the inaugural ceremony of Moon-soon tree plantation drive at Maira, where former tehsil nazim, Muhammad Tahir Khan was the chief guest.
SDFO Zahid Hussain on the occasion said that saplings of different species would be planted at different areas of the district and also saplings to be distributed among the public.
Saplings were also distributed among the general public on the occasion.
