The Pakistani Foreign Office (FO) has firmly denied any policy shift regarding Israel, following reports of a Pakistani delegation, including journalists and influencers, visiting the country. FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated that the ministry had no prior knowledge of such a visit and is currently gathering information about it. He emphasized that Pakistan’s stance remains unchanged, asserting, “There is no question of a change in Pakistan’s position on the question of recognition of Israel or on the question of Palestine or the Arab-Israel problems. It remains unwavering, very clear, and very firm.” Pakistan does not recognize Israel and has consistently advocated for the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. The FO reiterated this position, highlighting Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination.
