Attack Details: The Jaffar Express, en route from Quetta to Peshawar with over 400 passengers, was ambushed by BLA militants. The assailants detonated explosives on the railway track, halting the train within a tunnel, and subsequently opened fire.

Hostage Situation: Initial reports indicate that approximately 214 passengers were taken hostage, including civilians and alleged military personnel.

Security Response: Pakistani security forces launched a comprehensive rescue mission, successfully freeing over 150 passengers. The operation resulted in the elimination of 27 militants.
