December 29, 2024: Security forces thwarted two infiltration attempts along the Pak-Afghan border in Kurram and North Waziristan districts. Approximately 25 militants, including members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Afghan Taliban, attempted to cross into Pakistan. The swift response by Pakistani forces led to the killing of over 15 militants and the abandonment of six Afghan Taliban posts .
December 5, 2024: In separate intelligence-based operations in South Waziristan and Lakki Marwat districts, security forces neutralized eight terrorists. Among those killed was Khan Muhammad alias Khoryay, a high-value target involved in numerous terrorist activities. Two other terrorists were apprehended during these operations .
