Pakistan Army shoots down Indian spy quadcopter along LoC

​On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, the Pakistan Army reported that it shot down an Indian quadcopter that had allegedly violated Pakistani airspace along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Manawar sector of Bhimber district, Azad Jammu and Kashmir. According to Pakistani military sources, the drone was conducting surveillance activities when it was intercepted and brought down by Pakistani troops .​

This incident adds to the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, particularly in the wake of the recent Pahalgam attack. India has suggested cross-border involvement in that attack, while Pakistan has denied any connection and has called for a neutral investigation .​

As of now, there has been no official response from Indian authorities regarding the downed drone.
