Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to modernizing its defense capabilities and strengthening the armed forces.
Addressing trainee officers from the Command And Staff College Quetta at the Presidency, he emphasized Pakistan’s dedication to regional and global peace, citing the country’s contributions to un peace missions as proof of its commitment.
Gillani expressed his pleasure in meeting professional officers from various countries, including the UK, China, Türkiye, and Saudi Arabia, calling their presence a symbol of international cooperation. He also praised the Command And Staff College Quetta for its role in fostering international Military collaboration.
