ISLAMABAD Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over inflation reaching the lowest rate in 81 months.
In one of his statements, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that it is welcome that the inflation rate will reach 4.1 percent in December 2024. He said macroeconomic stability has been achieved but this is only the beginning. He said government has started a project like Uran Pakistan and will make it one of the leading countries in the world.
The Prime Minister expressed his satisfaction that the inflation has reached the lowest rate in 81 months and said that after 24 years the current account has become surplus, the inflation has decreased from 38 percent to 4.1 percent.
He said that Pakistan’s stock market has become the second best market in the world and the policy rate has reduced from 22 percent to 13 percent.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif further said that due to the hard work of the government’s economic and financial team, the economy is moving towards stability.
