Following the Senate’s passage of recent constitutional amendments, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda has stated that while PTI backed certain clauses within the legislative framework, it did not endorse the amendment in its entirety. Vawda emphasized that PTI’s stance was more nuanced, supporting parts of the proposed constitutional changes but withholding approval of the overall package, reflecting internal disagreements within the party.
