SHANGLA: The district education department Shangla has closed two primary schools for a week in Kana tehsil of the district after some teachers tested positive for covid-19.
The district education officer, Shangla, Muhammad Ameen issued a notification here on Thursday, ordering the closure of government primary school, Belkanai and government primary school, Olandar both located in the Kana tehsil of Shangla district, till October, 25.
DEO Muhammad Ameen, told The Northern Post in this scribe that both the schools were closed after their teaching staff tested positive for coronavirus.
He said both the schools teachers tested positive for covid-19 had been quarantined at the same schools, however, schools across the district were being strictly monitored in this regard to avoid spread the virus among the students and teachers.
