Security Forces Eliminate 9 Terrorists, Including Suicide Bombers, in Bajaur Operation

In a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Bajaur district, security forces neutralized nine terrorists, including two suicide bombers and their ringleader, according to the ISPR. The operation was part of a broader anti-terrorism drive aimed at curbing militancy in the region, which has witnessed a surge in attacks. The terrorists, who were planning large-scale attacks, had been involved in various violent activities against security personnel and civilians. A large cache of weapons, explosives, and communication devices was recovered from the site. The military’s efforts reflect its ongoing resolve to dismantle terrorist networks, particularly those linked to groups like Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Continuous sanitization operations are underway to ensure the complete eradication of terrorism from the region, which borders Afghanistan and has been a hotspot for militant activity. This successful operation highlights the military’s unwavering commitment to national security and the protection of its citizens.
