The team faced early setbacks, losing Sahibzada Farhan, Omair Yousuf, and Usman Khan during the powerplay. Farhan was dismissed for 4 off 7 balls, while Yousuf failed to score, falling to Blessing Muzarabani. Usman Khan also departed cheaply, scoring just 8.
