Visit to Kabul – April 19, 2025

On April 19, Dar will embark on a one-day official trip to Kabul, marking the first visit by a Pakistani foreign minister to Afghanistan since October 2021 . The agenda includes discussions on cross-border terrorism, border management, the repatriation of Afghan refugees, and progress on regional projects like the TAPI gas pipeline . This visit follows a recent meeting of the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) in Kabul, which signaled a thaw in bilateral relations after a 15-month hiatus .​

Visit to Dhaka – April 22, 2025

Subsequently, on April 22, Dar will visit Dhaka, becoming the first Pakistani foreign minister to do so since 2012 . This visit comes after the resumption of Foreign Office consultations between Pakistan and Bangladesh, which had been on hold for 15 years . The discussions are expected to cover political, economic, and trade relations, as well as cooperation in agriculture, environment, education, and cultural exchanges .​
