Family supported me in ending first marriage’

In an interview with Ahmad Ali Butt, actor Dania Enwer shared how instrumental her family’s support was in helping her move on from her first marriage. “I have a lot of support from my family, and I think I’m privileged that way — not everyone is. When you have that kind of support, it doesn’t matter to you what anyone else is saying,” she said.

Dania added, “My mother is a very empowering woman. For the longest time I didn’t tell my parents that I was having problems with my marriage because you try to spare your parents the pain and work things out on your own.”

The Radd actor stressed that she doesn’t talk about her problems unless she needs a solution. “So when I was ready, I called my mom one day and said, ‘Things are not great, and I’ve tried my best. But now I’m on the verge where the marriage must end or it will end me.'”
