Pakistan’s armed forces are currently engaged in multiple operations and developments amid rising regional tensions and internal security challenges.
Border Clashes with Afghan Taliban
Pakistan Army has launched strong retaliatory actions along the Pak-Afghan border after what it described as “unprovoked aggression.” Security forces targeted and destroyed several militant positions in the Chaman area of Balochistan following cross-border attacks that killed and injured civilians.
Reports indicate that the military operation, often referred to as Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq, is ongoing and will continue until security objectives are achieved.
Major Military Operation Against Militants
Pakistan has also intensified operations against militant groups, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Officials say the campaign will persist until militant threats are eliminated, highlighting a firm stance on national security.
Missile Test Strengthens Defense Capability
In a significant development, the Army successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenous Fatah-II missile system, designed to enhance precision strike capability with a range of around 400 km. The test aimed to validate performance and improve combat readiness.
