SHANGLA: Deputy commissioner Shangla Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao took notice on the use of sub-standard material in the construction of Dehrai-Kaho road.
On the complaint of local people of Kaho Mayar DC Shangla Muhammad Fayaz Khan Sherpao had taken notice and constituted a committee for inquiry in the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Alpuri Fid-Ul-Karim.
Later on, AC Fida-Ul-Karim accompanied by engineers of the construction and works department inspected the road.
He inspected the quality and quantity of material used in the concrete road and also its length as per rules required.
He assured the locals on the occasion that strict action would be taken against the contractor if he found guilty, however, he urged the public to monitor ongoing development projects being executed in their areas so that contractors could use quality material as per C & W rules.
